Click here for the Safety Video 2020-2021 WINTER ATHLETIC UPDATE (1/20/21) On Monday, January 18th, Governor Pritzker and IDPH announced that suburban Cook County has moved into Tier 2 mitigations. With this transition into Tier 2, Argo Community High School will be able to begin low-risk winter sports starting January 25th . According to the IHSA and IDPH, low-risk winter sports consist of badminton, boys and girls bowling, cheerleading, dance, and boys swimming and diving. All health and safety protocols will be adhered to and can be found on the athletic website . Our athletic coaches will be reaching out to the student-athletes with specific dates and times for a start date. All information on start dates and times will be posted on the athletic website by Friday. Thank you again for your patience and understanding during this time. COVID-19 PROTOCOL HANDBOOK Under the reopening plan, two options will be provided to students and their families. As required by the Illinois State Board of Education, all families will have the option of choosing a completely remote learning option for their students. In addition, the District will offer a blended learning model for students, which involves both in-person instruction and remote learning. For more information, please read the Argo COVID-19 Protocol Handbook 2020-2021 BUS ROUTES On Mondays and Thursdays , students will be getting picked up at 8:25am if they have an academic class 3rd period. If they have lunch 3rd period, then another round of buses will be picking them up at 9:40a to bring them in for 1st period. Then for dismissal on Monday and Thursday, if students have lunch 4th period then they will be able to leave and there will be a bus at 12:50pm to take them home. If they have an academic class 4th period, then there will be a bus at 2:30pm to take them home. On Tuesdays and Fridays , students will be getting picked up at 8:25am if they have an academic class 5th period. If they have lunch 5th period, then another round of buses will be picking them up at 9:40a to bring them in for 7th period. Then for dismissal on Tuesday and Friday, if students have lunch 6th period then they will be able to leave and there will be a bus at 11:30am to take them home. If they have an academic class 6th period, then there will be a bus at 12:50pm to take them home. 2020-2021 BUS ROUTES ACCESS EXAM POSTPONED On the evening of December 17, 2020, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) decided to postpone the 2021 ACCESS Exam. Please disregard the previous letter dated “December 2020” as that information is no longer accurate. Once we receive more guidance from ISBE, we will reschedule the 2021 ACCESS Exam and notify all English Language Learner Students and their families.
